Analog drum brain. Listen to the kick drum on 'Jump' by Van Halen and you'll hear the Simmons kick loud and clear, especially in the pre-chorus and chorus. Sounds akin to an 80's Buick station wagon door closing.

Analog synth drum. Great for the disco "shooting star" sound. That's a thing, right?
